Toshiba M40-331 under linux

This machine works fine under linux. The only non-trivial parts are the Marvell ethernet card and ATI X600 video card. I skipped the smart cards reader, pcmcia, modem etc...

I installed ubuntu dapper drake (flight 6). The problems were solved simply by:

- Installing the fglrx driver for X11 hardware acceleration via apt-get
- Enabling the newer sky2 module for the marvell ethernet in /etc/modules

And ah! it took me more time to figure out for the wifi... The ipw2200 is automatically recognized, yet there is a small switch on the front of the laptop... Push it left...
